Young Investigator Awards available

Awards are available for the best abstracts by Young Investigators for the PATS/SATS Congress 2018 taking place in Durban, 12-15 April 2018.

The Committee is interested in providing a platform to showcase promising young African researchers at the congress. Submission of abstracts is therefore especially encouraged by registrars and post graduate students.

Young Investigator Awards are available for the best abstracts.  A young investigator is defined as any individual who obtained their last qualification (such as an Undergraduate degree in general medicine; Masters degree as a Physician or Paediatrician; or Certificate in Paediatric Pulmonology or Adult Pulmonology) within the last 5 years.  The awards will cover congress registration, travel and accommodation for award recipients.  In order to be considered for these awards, check the relevant ‘Young Investigator Award’ box on the abstract submission page on the congress website.  This will ensure the Scientific Committee is aware of your interest when reviewing submissions.

The extended deadline for abstract submissions is 12 January 2018.   For further information on abstract submissions visit the congress website: www.pats-sats2018.com
