Asthma Mini Symposium
PATS will be hosting an Asthma virtual Mini Symposium on 21 August 2021.
Asthma is a leading cause of chronic respiratory disease affecting children and adults throughout their lifetime. The burden is increasing globally, with low and middle income countries in the global south bearing a high burden.
The aim of this symposium is to provide an overview of Asthma in Africa with a focus on Asthma diagnosis and management as a lung health priority for all clinicians.

Pulmonologists, fellows, GPs, pharmacists, Registrars, allergy professionals, physicians and paediatricians, nurses, physical therapists.
