INTRODUCTION
I was awarded the PALI grant to conduct a sensitization and advocacy project titled “PROMOTING LUNG FUNCTION TESTING FOR THE EARLY DETECTION, DIAGNOSIS, MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING OF RESPIRATORY DISEASES” on World Lung Day 2024 which fell on the 25th of September. I was given the option of holding the event on the 12th of November, 2024, World Pneumonia Day on account of possible delay in the funds reaching my account in time.
