Interventional Pulmonology Working Group

PATS-IP

The Pan African Thoracic Society Interventional Pulmonology Working Group (PATS-IP) is building a sustainable African network of interventional pulmonologists. Through regional training centres, continuous mentorship and a Train-the-Trainers model, we aim to expand access to advanced pulmonary procedures such as EBUS, thoracoscopy and rigid bronchoscopy, strengthen local expertise and train the next generation of African IP specialists.
