ERS Congress Travel Grant Application
We are pleased to invite applications for travel grants to attend the 2026 European Respiratory Society (ERS) Congress taking place in Barcelona, Spain from September 5-9, 2026.
PATS will award two (2) travel grants of USD1000 each and a complimentary congress registration to support members participating in the conference. This grant is intended to enable MECOR-trained researchers to present their work at recognised international or regional respiratory and research congresses, strengthening both their professional development and the visibility of African respiratory research.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be paid-up PATS members
- Must have participated in MECOR 2025
- Have an abstract accepted for oral or poster presentation, or have submission confirmation pending review
- Have not previously received a PATS MECOR travel grant.
- Preference will be given to applicants without full funding
