Bronchiectasis remains an under diagnosed and under treated condition in African children and adults, particularly as a sequelae to pneumonia or TB.  The long term impact of these infectious diseases including bronchiectasis can lead to lifelong impairment of health and quality of life.  Prevention, early diagnosis and management are critical to reduce this burden
