The 2nd conference of the International Society for Pediatric Respiratory Diseases (INSPIRED) was recently held in Portugal. INSPIRED is the only global conference dedicated to paediatric respiratory diseases and was attended by many people from over 55 countries. It was an amazing exchange of high level presentations, discussions, and state of the art reviews by leaders as well as young investigators in their respective fields from around the world.
PATS was well represented with several PATS members contributing and receiving awards. Prof Heather Zar gave the opening plenary, while Prof Ada Ayuk. Assoc Profs Marco Zampoli and Dr Sandra Kwarteng Owusu all gave invited talks.
