PATS-MECOR 2024 Kenya
We are pleased to announce the application for the Pan African Thoracic Society – Methods in Epidemiologic, Clinical and Operations Research (PATS-MECOR) 2024 is now opened.
PATS Women's Leadership Program
PATS is excited to announce the Women’s Leadership Program, an initiative aimed at guiding African women in the thoracic field. Those who have successfully completed PATS-MECOR research training through all three levels are eligible to participate/apply.
BTS-PATS Travel Fellowship
In 2022, The British Thoracic Society Global Health Group in partnership with the Pan African Thoracic Society had successfully launched a programme of placements, which provides UK and African colleagues with an opportunity to visit a host hospital coupled with attendance at either the BTS or PATS annual conferences each year.
PATS Lung Health Initiative
World Lung Day is marked on 25 September each year to raise awareness and advocate for improved care for respiratory diseases globally. PATS, alongside other members of the Forum of International Respiratory Societies (FIRS), encourages hosting local advocacy events on this day.
